For victims of the Joplin, Missouri Tornado
YOUR CONTINUED PATRONAGE HELPS THOSE IN NEED!

All of us at Precious Moments are deeply saddened by the massive tornado that hit our neighboring community, Joplin, on May 22, 2011. Foremost, we are thankful that all of our employees are safe, yet our hearts go out to those who were not so fortunate.

The Precious Moments family has opened their hearts to help raise significant funds for the disaster victims (all donations benefit the American Red Cross, Greater Ozarks Regional Chapter.) After the tornado struck, the Precious Moments Family of Companies donated $25,000. Since then, we continue to raise much needed funds, totaling over $71,500!

While the need is still quite substantial to rebuild the city, the homes, and the lives of those who have lost so much, we are so very proud of the progress the determined Joplin residents and leaders have made. We are pleased to report that the Joplin public schools opened on schedule on August 17th and St. John’s Regional Medical Center is now operating out of a modular hospital with new building plans underway. While much has been accomplished, there are still many people in need. So know that your assistance is making a big difference, and you can still help!
