Registration Information
*For all you early birds, early bird registration starts on Wednesday, June 16th from 1:30pm to 5:00pm at the Fairview Christian Church.

*Registration on Thursday, June 17th is from 8:00am to 11:00pm and then later from 2:00pm to 3:30pm at the Fairview Christian Church.

*Registration on Friday, June 18th is from 9:00am to 11:30pm at the Fairview Christian Church.
 
*The event ends on Sunday, June 20th, 2010 after the morning service held at the Precious Moments Chapel from 8:00am to 9:00am. 

*We want to acknowledge all of the men and women who have served.  Please indicate in the space provided on your registration form if you were in a branch of the military and please bring your uniform with you if you have it. (It does not have to fit)

A full event schedule will be sent with your confirmation packet after registration is closed.

4th Annual Precious Moments Supporting Foundation Golf Tournament
The 4th Annual Precious Moments Supporting Foundation Golf Tournament will be held in Carthage, MO again this year on Wednesday June 16th, 2010. Flag & Essay Contest
We would like you to tell us what Freedom means to you.  Submit your essay of 500 words or less, Titled “What Freedom Means to Me!” by March 31st to be entered into the drawing for a chance to win a Bronze piece from the Fountain of Angels.  We will be judging your essays and will announce the winner along with reading the essay at the Faith and Freedom Welcome Hour on Thursday, June 17th which will begin at 8:00 am. 
 We would also like you to create a Flag using ONLY paperclips, buttons and ribbon.  Your flag should be no bigger than a sheet of paper (8 ½” X 11”).  Your flag will be judged during the event.  There will be a check in table at the church where you will place your flag to be judged.  The winner will receive a Bronze piece from the Fountain of Angels.

What we have in store for you:
 Collector 101 Class with Jake Toering: This class will teach you the basics of being a Precious Moments collector.  Whether you’re an experienced collector that needs a refresher course or a new collector that would like to learn, you won’t want to miss this class.  Space is limited; registration is required, please call 417-359-2937 or email chapel@preciousmoments.com to register.
 Paint your own T-shirt class with Sue Stark: Enjoy the fun of painting your own t-shirt.  Registration is required; Cost is $25.00 per person and is to be paid in advance(refer to space indicated on registration form).  Space is limited, please call 417-359-2937 or email chapel@preciousmoments.com to sign up.  (Shirt will have a different design from the event shirt included in the goodie bag) 
 Crop til you Drop Scrapbooking with Creative Memories Consultant, Barbara Anderson: Barbara will have a station set up that will be open to everyone (children must be supervised) where you can “crop til you drop” at any time during the event (except when she is teaching her class).  She will also be teaching a Scrapbooking Class where you will be able to create your own12 page Paper Album; Cost is $25.00 per person.  For the class you will receive a kit which will include all the items you will need, including the tools, to create your very own album.  You will need to bring up to 20 pictures to include in your album.  Registration is required and cost is to be paid in advance (refer to space indicated on registration form).  Please call 417-359-2937 or email chapel@preciousmoments.com to sign up.
 Digital Photography class with Koral Martin from Digitally Speaking, LLC: We know that you will have your cameras with you, so if you would like to learn more about your camera and how to take amazing pictures, you won’t want to miss this class. You will also get a free 8 x 10 print of one of YOUR photos taken during the event mailed to you. (Details will be given at class time).  Koral will discuss the basic settings on most digital cameras as well as explain the terms related to digital photography (i.e. megapixels).  She will also discuss the basic principals of taking good photos as well as other helpful information.  Cost is $20.00 per person and is to be paid in advance (refer to space indicated on registration form).  Space is limited, please call 417-359-2937 or email chapel@preciousmoments.com to sign up.  
 Marriage Renewal Ceremony: Renew your vows at the Precious Moments Chapel.  There will be a brief ceremony where any interested couple can have their vows renewed in the Chapel.  Time will be limited so this will be a group ceremony; individual ceremonies will not be permitted.  Date and time will be listed on the schedule.  No registration is required.
 Thursday night: A special time with Sam Butcher
 Friday night: Birds of Faith Show with Yvonne Patterson from “Wings of Love”; Yvonne is a horticulturalist and rain forest photo journalist who has created entertaining bird shows to educate all ages.  Birds of Faith is a bible study of birds in the Bible that will include interactions with talking birds, birds doing magic tricks, and much more.  There will also be some small birds that the children can interact with.  To learn more about Yvonne, visit her website at www.wings-of-love.com.  
 Saturday night: Red, White and Boom Blast featuring the “Reflections Dance Band”: Be ready to kick up your heels and have a “BOOMIN” time while enjoying the amazing sounds of this 11 piece Big Brass Band.  The Dance will be held at the Fairview Christian Church Saturday night, June 19th, located at 2320 Grand Ave.  You won’t want to miss out on the fun!

   Grab bags will be available for purchase for $40.00. 
  Children will enjoy many different art projects and activities and this year they will have their very own goodie bag. (contents will differ from the adult goodie bag)
  Bingo and the bean bag toss!

The Precious Moments Chapel Engraved Brick Program

Chapel Window Fundraiser
The restoration on the east side will start in January of 2010 and should be completed by the time of this year’s event.  The restoration would not have been possible without your love and support of the Chapel.  The staff at the Chapel truly appreciates the blessings you provide; In God We Trust.

All money raised at this event will go to the Precious Moments Supporting Foundation, a non-profit 501 ©(3) organization that exclusively owns and operates the Precious Moments Chapel. The main mission of the foundation is to sustain the Chapel and continue Samuel J. Butcher’s legacy for many, many years to come.
